mLearning (Mobile Learning)
Nova Datacom takes a different approach to training as compared to many other companies and trainers. Our training goal isn’t to push rote memorization regarding the basics of any given technology, but to have students fully understand what it is, where it came from, how to use it, and how it relates to other pieces of a larger internetwork.
Certification is certainly a measurement of acquired knowledge, but our goal at Nova Datacom is to create better engineers. This is reflected in our teaching style and methods and throughout our mLearning curriculum. Nova Datacom classes are delivered with a focus on real world examples and references to functional networking. Coupled with practice labs and Real World labs, this emphasis accelerates skill acquisition and brings a level of understanding that shows immediate results that students can apply to real networks.
Aimed at the student on the go, Nova Datacom has developed a collection of learning partner authorized mobile training modules (mLearning). These modules are available through a variety of subscription options and can be downloaded and accessed via mobile platforms such as tablet computers or smart phones. This mobile flexibility allows the student to proceed at their own pace and provides access to supplemental training, lab materials, and hands-on access to equipment.
