Nova Datacom, LLC, a provider of information assurance and security services to the public and private sectors, today announced it has been named to the inaugural Diverse 100 list by Everything Channel’s CRN Magazine. The list, created by the Everything Channel editorial and research team, focuses on solution provider organizations that have a founder, CEO or president that is a member of a recognized minority group. The Diverse 100 are ranked by revenue and include women, disabled individuals, veterans and Americans of Asian, African and Hispanic decent.
CRN decided to present this information this year as a service to its readership. Often, government contractors are required to use minority-owned suppliers for a portion of a particular contract. Identifying minority-run solution providers offers those contractors a ready reference. In addition, it allows the entire readership to familiarize themselves with companies they may be unaware of, and with which they may be able to partner.
Chosen by the editors of Everything Channel, this designation is based on a company’s professional achievements and influence within the technology channel. The Diverse 100 include women, small disadvantaged businesses, disabled individuals, veterans and Americans of Asian, African and Hispanic decent. In addition to company submissions for inclusion, CRN’s editorial and research teams nominated appropriate companies for consideration. “At Nova Datacom, one of our greatest strengths is the wide variety of experiences unique to each employee,” stated Min Cho, CEO and owner. “By respecting our inherent differences, we can truly leverage our past expertise to make us a stronger company as a whole.”
“CRN recognizes that successful organizations embrace diversity. A philosophy of inclusion is good for companies and for the industry at large. With this inaugural project we will highlight the benefits and best practices VARs can glean from creating a diverse workforce and showcase some of the leading minority-led solution providers in the market today,” said Kelley Damore, VP, Editorial Director, Everything Channel.
A special feature on the Diverse 100 is in the August issue of CRN Magazine and expanded coverage will be featured online at www.crn.com.
