Nova Datacom, LLC, a provider of information assurance and security services to the public and private sectors, announced today that it has been awarded a $2.5 million task order in support of the WHCA mission of providing both secure and non-secure communications services to allow the President to lead the nation effectively.
The task order includes procurement, installation, configuration, documentation, accreditation, and training for a storage area network (SAN) that will provide storage, replication, and fail-over provisions to ensure 99.999% availability.
“IT Contingency Planning is an integral part of a comprehensive Continuity of Operations Plan and Program that must parallel in development and maintenance to eliminate single points of failure,” stated Joe Kim, Director of Engineering at Nova Datacom. “Our past performance and extensive technical training allows us to provide WHCA with both the information assurance capabilities necessary, as well as industry best practices to fully satisfy the requirements of their mission.”
